Our unique MAF sensor housing\/air box adapter features a 6 inch diameter mounting surface for filter mounting. The housing then transitions down as it passes through the air box wall to create the air box mounting flange on the exterior while simultaneously creating a velocity stack type of entry on the duct's interior. Due to our rigid air box mounting system, we incorporate a silicone hump hose connector at the inlet elbow to absorb motor rock. To increase air velocity, the inlet elbow is custom molded with a slight taper throughout its length as it transitions down to the throttle body. To maximize air volume, we maintain a large ID on the inlet elbow then use a silicone reducer to step down to the throttle body clamping diameter.
